“After Colon-Vagina Surgery, Are There Issues with Mucus or Odor?”
Many people may be concerned about excessive mucus or odor after gender affirming surgery that creates a vagina using the colon. Candy Kulchaya shared her experience, stating that she didn’t have significant issues with this and viewed it as a matter of personal hygiene. Mucus may be more prominent only in the initial stages after the surgery, but it becomes normal over time.
“After 4 Years, Is Dilation (Vaginal Dilation) Still Necessary?”
Candy discussed vaginal dilation, or “dilation,” as something that requires discipline, following a schedule based on the doctor’s advice, especially during the first year. Once it becomes a routine, it becomes part of daily life without any major obstacles or difficulty. Now, after nearly 4 years, she no longer needs to dilate daily, but only two or three times a week.
“New Bathroom Experience After Gender Affirming Surgery”
Candy shared that at first, after the surgery, using the bathroom felt a bit strange and was a new experience. But once she adjusted and became accustomed to the changes, she had no problems with using the restroom at all.
